Mandy (above) - an inspirational lady who has MS but is positive, cheerful, determined and has always helped others. PIAF continues to fundraise to support her to remain as independant as possible.
Skills Training to Support Future Projects
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). A PIAF member has now successfully passed a TEFL qualification including Specialist Certificates to teach Young Learners; Grammar Awareness and Teaching with Limited Resources. This is with a view to undertaking voluntary work overseas in schools and orphanages and to help those in developing countries to acquire a vital skill to enhance their opportunities in life.

Chernobyl Child Lifeline (www.chernobylchildlifeline.org):- respite trips to the UK for children affected by the Nuclear Power Station disaster.
Hands Across the Water (www.handsacrossthewater.org.uk):- works tirelessly to fund raise for an Orphanage built in Thailand especially for Tsunami survivors.
The John Muir Trust (www.jmt.org):- Ben Nevis summit litter clearance project.
